About me

I’m an Experience and Product Design leader with over 20 years of building high‑performing teams and embedding user‑centred thinking into complex, highly regulated and fast‑moving organisations. Much of my career has involved stepping into companies where UX was either emerging or nonexistent, and establishing the foundations—processes, culture, and cross‑functional partnerships—that allow design to genuinely influence strategy and delivery.

People leadership is what drives me. I love understanding what each person needs to thrive and creating an environment where they feel supported, challenged, and confident. My teams often describe my approach as thoughtful, empathetic, and grounded in psychological safety. Helping people grow—professionally and personally—is the most rewarding part of my work.

Alongside team leadership, I’ve consistently played a strategic role. At Craneware, I expanded the Experience team to include front‑end engineers so we could build an in‑house design system, cutting UI delivery time in half and improving consistency across nine products. At Best Buy Health/Current Health, I unified physical and digital design into a single Experience function, introduced Content Design to support low‑literacy patient populations, and redesigned governance processes to improve efficiency and alignment.

I’m at my best when solving complex problems—especially those that sit at the intersection of user needs, operational realities, and regulatory constraints. Whether designing end‑to‑end frameworks for medical device integrations or shaping product strategies that require C‑suite buy‑in, I ground my work in insight, evidence, and collaboration.

Across every role, my focus has been the same: create clarity, reduce complexity, and build teams and processes that elevate both the product and the people behind it. That combination of strategic depth, operational rigour, and human‑centred leadership is what I bring to every organisation I join.
